After a particularly long (and quite unwanted) hiatus from art-as-habit, it appears as though my productive self is re-emerging.  And about time.  Seriously, sheesh.

During a pilgrimage to Five Points, NYC with the good folks at Methinks, I gave a tentative go at street art installations:





You'll notice that underneath the frames, it says "lille".  That's my tag name, shhh!
I'm hoping to work towards a series of wheatpaste-and-cardboard installations in and around the market next time I'm back in Toronto. 

Following my return from New York, my mom presented me with an irresistible high school textbook from 1956 on the proper dress and presentation of upstanding young women.  I've been sketching from it.  The result:
